James was a part of the Subsiders crew. The Subsiders gave him a new name, which is "Spider". He was Owen's best friend when Mike broke his leg over the summer but by the end of summer he mysteriously disappeared. Owen had no idea what happened to him until the Subsiders caught him. James introduces him to the gang. Owen tries to convince him to leave and stop committing crimes but James believes he belongs there. Untill Viper Attacks Owen after finding out he's a mole and James has a change of heart and defends him. The Subsiders cave is later destroyed by the ninjas and they are defeated too And arrested by the police.
